Streetball Madness 2018 is a 5 on 5 single elimination tournament comprising of 2 divisions: Men’s and Women’s.

Also, this year, we are proud to introduce our new partner tournament: Streetball Madness Asia Pacific.


Men’s Division

The Men’s Division will comprise of 24 teams battling it out for the grand prize of $25,000.
The finalists that make it through to Battle Force Sunday on the 25th of November will receive $5,000, with the Champion taking home an extra $20,000, championship rings, and bragging rights as The NEW Best Streetball team in Australia.


women’s Division

The Women’s Division will comprise of 8 teams battling it out for the grand prize of $25,000.
The finalists that make it through to Battle Force Sunday on the 25th of November will receive $5,000, with the Champion taking home an extra $20,000, championship rings, and bragging rights as The Best Female Streetball team in Australia.


STREETBALL MADNESS ASIA PACIFIC

Streetball Madness Asia Pacific (APAC) will comprise of 24 teams battling it out for the grand prize of $10,000, championship rings and bragging rights as the best APAC Streetball team in Australia.

The event is FREE to the public.

The tournament will be held over 4 days; The 16th, 17th, 18th, and 25th of November 2018.

16, 17 & 18 November:
14 Gafney Street, Coburb

25 November: Stage One, Dockland Studios, Melbourne

 

The Format

32 teams, 4 days, 3 Champions

Streetball Madness uses a single-elimination style bracket system meaning if you win, you advance, if you lose, you're out.
Teams will be seeded determined by previous tournament and basketball experience.

Day 1 - First round of games

Day 2 - Second round of games

Day 3 - Third round of games

Day 4 BATTLE FORCE SUNDAY - Community/Charity games, Final Four and Championship Games.

Rules

+ Full court - 5v5.
+ Maximum 10 man roster.
+ 2 x 18 minute halves.
+ Clock stops on last 2 minutes of each half.
+ If there is a draw at the end of the final half there
will be 5 mins of Overtime to decide winner.
+ 1 x 1 minute timeout per half.
