The King of Oz is a 1v1 tournament comprising of 32 players (18 years or older) who are chosen from Streetball Madness, to compete for $10,000 and a chance to be crowned The King of Oz.



The event is FREE to the public.

When: 22nd of September 2018.

Where: The warehouse, 124 Whitehall St, Footscray.


The Format

32 Players, 31 games, 1 winner

The King of Oz uses a single-elimination style bracket system meaning if you win, you advance, if you lose, you go home. Players will be seeded determined by previous tournament and basketball experience.

Day 1 - First round of games

Day 2 - Second round of games

Day 3 BATTLE FORCE SUNDAY - Community/Charity games, Final Four and Championship Game.

Full court - 5v5.
Maximum 10 man roster.
2 x 18 minute halves.
Clock stops on last 2 minutes of each half.
If there is a draw at the end of the final half there will be 5 mins of Overtime to decide winner.
1 x 1 minute timeout per half.
